From the Desk of The Founder
In the era of rapid globalization, migration, and technological advancements, the allure of swift communication and streamlined processes can eclipse the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and traditions. The intentional safeguarding and transmission of our traditions is not a call for societal stagnation, but to safeguard our identity and protect our legacy for future generations. Through research, processing and archiving of our cultural history and traditions, we not only honor the ingenuity of our ancestors, but also reclaim the very skills they honed to thrive and manage our natural resources. This expertise, in turn, directly impacts our economic prosperity.
This connection between cultural preservation and sustainable development is undeniable. Effective management of our natural resources, intimately tied to our traditional knowledge systems, holds the key to economic prosperity and national progress. Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17, the Erelu Yeye Oodua Cultural Renaissance Centre aims to empower Nigerians especially the youth. We provide them with sustainable access to education and learning opportunities, ensuring they become stewards of our rich cultural heritage.

Preserving our cultural heritage, arts, and customs demands not only our attention, but also our concerted and expeditious action. Individuals, organizations, and the government must collaborate and invest in this vital
